iTAAP officially launched by the honorable Chief Minister of AP

Information Technology Association of Andhra Pradesh (iTAAP) is the representative industry association for the IT, BPM and Electronics sectors in state of Andhra Pradesh. iTAAP shall act as a catalyst for the growth of IT, BPM & Electronics industry and help build Andhra Pradesh as the most preferred destination in the country.
iTAAP aims to bring about change by engaging with stakeholders on policy framework and design, enabling growth, competitiveness and opportunities for IT, BPM and Electronics industry through enabling platforms and strategic partnerships. Today, on 6th October 2016, iTAAP is officially launched by the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N Chandrababu Naidu.
iTAAP shall carry forward corporate initiatives for integrated and inclusive development across diverse areas to help the region and its members. iTAAP shall work on branding & promotion, policy & partnerships, startup & innovation, talent management & skill development, employee engagement & best practices, and corporate social responsibility. Special Interest groups are formed to help collaborate and develop capabilities in the areas of Big Data & analytics, Cyber Security, Business Process Management, Emerging Technologies, Engineering Services, and IOT/Smart Cities.
The state wide association comprises of four regions, North, Godavari, Central & South represented by chapters from each region. Four chapters have been formed as of today, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Vijayawada, and Tirupati. From the time of initiation of the association, there are 103 registered members under the corporate and associate member categories. With the official launch of iTAAP, new categories shall be open for on boarding institutions (Start-ups & Academic) and individuals (Overseas, Professionals, and Students).
With talent acquisition being amongst the top of mind concern area of the IT/BPM/Electronics industry, as one of its major initiatives, iTAAP shall launch a Talent Acquisition platform on its portal, this month. This initiative shall enable “reverse migration of experienced and skilled talent” back into the state of Andhra Pradesh, to help the existing and new investors.
